School Improvement Priorities

At Ruswarp Church of England (Voluntary Controlled) Primary School, we undertake a rigorous and reflective approach to school improvement. • Priority 2: Sustain a culture of exemplary behaviour and attendance, rooted in our Christian Values, ensuring disadvantaged pupils benefit from consistently high expectations.

• Priority 3: Rapidly improve outcomes for all learners from their starting points, with a precise focus on disadvantaged pupils and accelerating progress in writing.

• Priority 4: Further strengthen our ambitious curriculum and sharpen assessment systems so that all learners—including disadvantaged pupils—know more, remember more and achieve exceptionally well.
