With tomorrow being World Book Day, Purplemash are running a Book of Hope Writing Competition. As you might guess, the theme is Hope and Purplemash encourage you to think about the things that make you (and others around you) happy. This could include any events/activities that you look forward to (football matches, parties, walks on the beach, etc...). Your writing can be in paragraphs or written as a poem or letter. Using no more than 221 words, write your thoughts on this Purplemash page (you will need to log in to your Purplemash account). Our focus on Martin Luther King has produced some interesting (and thoughtful) results, including contributions from Seth, Jacob, Crystal, Eliza and Isla

 

 

As you can see from the examples above, the legacy of Martin Luther King has been the source of much art work. Todays' task is to create your own art work celebrating the life of Martin Luther King. Happy New Year! Yesterday evening's announcement was certainly a bit of a surprise; however, there are one or two things that we can be going along with...
