Leading Lights
Ruswarp School’s Leading Lights
Leading Lights Team - to meet fortnightly with Miss Brown and support our school in developing our vision and values. The Leading Lights would assist with the following:
- Helping to deliver our collective worship; lighting candles, welcoming people in, saying prayers etc.
- Planning collective worship, particularly for harvest, Christmas and Easter services.
- Helping to plan Prayer spaces in school and show others how to use them
- To set a fantastic example by always following the school’s Christian Values

Our brand new Leading Lights committee had their first meeting this week. They have discussed the roles they would like to take in our collective worship after half term, when we will be back together again! We also discussed what we want to achieve by being a Leading Light in school, and what we were most looking forward to. ‘Making people happy and joining in with worship’, ‘Sharing prayers’ and ‘having meetings together’ were some of the responses.
